ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED


Car Parts, Tires, or Batteries

Hazardous waste
motor oil, anti-freeze, propane tanks, fluorescent tubes, oil-based paint, or chemicals

Masonry Items
concrete, brick, block, or stone also includes dirt

Medical Waste
contact a local hospital for info on the "safe syringe program"

Recyclable Items
newspapers, plastic/glass bottles, cardboard, textiles

Renovation/Remodeling Debris
lumber, tile, siding, roofing items

 

HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE

Garbage should be placed curbside on regular collection day
no earlier than 5pm the evening before

Limited to three (3) bags or three (3) cans per household per week
Maximum weight-- 35 lbs per bag / 40 gallons per can
Additional bags or cans require the purchase of bulk stickers

        

Household garbage must be free of:
Hazardous Waste, Medical Waste, and Recyclables
