Private contractors are responsible for removing all yard waste and other debris from property. 

 

YARD WASTE

Yard Waste Items can be placed curbside on regular collection day.
*Grass Clippings will only be collected on Tuesday*
  • Branches & Large Brush Items
    -Place in neat piles at curbside; please do not block the sidewalk
    -Branches must not be longer than 4 feet    

  • Garden Debris
    -Place curbside in biodegradable bags or open cans
    -Garden debris will not be picked up loose or in plastic bags

  • Grass Clipping Season- April 1st to November 31st
    -Place in biodegradable paper bags or in open cans
    -Grass clippings will not be picked up loose or in plastic bags

  • Leaf Vaccing Season- November 1st to December 31st
    -During the leaf vaccing season, leaves can be placed loose at curbside
    -Loose leaves must be kept at least 10 feet from any storm water catch basin
    -Piles of leaves must be free of garden debris, branches, and grass clippings
    -Between January 1st and October 31st leaves will not be picked up loose. 
    (Leaves must be placed in biodegradable bags or cans during this time frame)
