[ARCHIVED] Snow Event Forecast - February 9, 2017

A winter storm is expected for Thursday, February 9th, 2017.  Snow is forecast to begin falling in the early morning hours of February 9th and continuing through midday.

Residents are "required" to remove all vehicles from any “emergency street” as soon as the roadway begins to cover with snow, if not sooner. Failure to comply will result in a traffic summons and the vehicle being towed.  On non-emergency streets, residents are strongly urged to find parking of vehicles off the roadway to allow for proper plowing.

Residents are reminded that borough ordinance requires property owners to clear their sidewalks of snow and ice.  When cleaning the sidewalks and driveways, please do not put the snow back in the roadway. This is not permissible and creates a safety hazard.
